What’s an NFT?
An NFT stands for “Non-fungible token” meaning it is a unique, one-of-a-kind digital item that users can buy, own, and trade on the blockchain. An NFT can be anything digital such as digital art, photography, music, and even contracts. They are bought and sold using cryptocurrency such as Ethereum after they are minted, which will reveal the individual traits of your NFT (if it is part of a generative project like Agent1). “Generative” means that the art is generated by an algorithm that combines predetermined traits based on rarity. Rarity dictates the value of the NFT, not unlike other collectibles such as baseball cards.
What Does "Minting" Mean?
Minting an NFT is how your digital art becomes a part of the Ethereum blockchain–a public ledger that is unchangeable and tamper-proof. Similar to the way that metal coins are minted and added into circulation, NFTs are also tokens that get “minted” once they are created. Your digital artwork is represented as an NFT so it can then be purchased and traded in the market and digitally tracked as it is resold or collected again in the future.
What Is Blockchain Technology?
Blockchain technology is most simply defined as a decentralized, distributed ledger that records the provenance of a digital asset. By inherent design, the data on a blockchain is unable to be modified unlike many other digital forms of ledgers. This ensures that the NFT art you purchase is traceable and authentic. It is being utilized by a number of industries including healthcare and finance due to the security that it offers.

How do you install MetaMask?
You can add MetaMask to your Chrome browser by visiting Metamask.io. After adding it to your browser, you can follow the steps below to install your MetaMask wallet:
Step 1: Click on the "create a wallet" button.
Step 2: Choose a strong password only you know. You will need this password to log into your MetaMask wallet.
Step 3: Metamask will provide a phrase that you can use as a security measure. You should write it down on a piece of paper or store it on a USB flash drive. Don't let anyone else know this secret seed phrase.
Step 4: Re-enter your phrase on Metamask and you will be all set.
If you remove MetaMask from your browser, you will use your backup phrase to restore your wallet. You can log in to your wallet just by entering the password that you created in the second step.
Now click the link to OpenSea while logged in your MetaMask wallet.
Step 5: Fund your Metamask Wallet with Ethereum or other Cryptocurrency
Two Good Options to Fund your Metamask Account
Option 1: Buy Ethereum on Coinbase and send it to your wallet.
Coinbase is a secure platform that makes it easy to buy, sell, and store cryptocurrency like Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc. It's pretty simple to get started, just create a Coinbase account and fill out your information.
You will need to verify your information like email, address, date of birth, last 4 digits of social security, and what you want to use Coinbase for. You will also need to add some sort of payment like a debit/credit card or login to your bank.
Click "Ethereum" and purchase enough, with a little extra, to buy your NFT. We recommend buying more than less to cover transaction costs and inflated gas prices that may surge during minting.
To send it to your wallet, go to Metamask > Buy > View Account. You will find a long string of digits which is your wallet code. For example, a regular Ethereum address looks like this: 0xc679f22996EfCc120626b18f9d01AF1603b98952. On Coinbase, you can transfer currency so you will want to transfer it to your Metamask wallet address.
After purchasing crypto currency such as Ethereum on Coinbase, for security reasons there is a holding period before you can transfer to metamask, usually 4-7 days, so we STRONGLY RECOMMEND loading your wallet well in advance of both presale and launch to avoid missing out due to lack of funds or any other technical issues.
Option 2: Buy ETH with Wyre COLORBLIND
You can buy Ethereum with a debit or credit card in a few minutes. However, the transaction may not always go through when there is very high demand. Make sure to load your wallet with enough Ethereum to purchase both your Agent1 and any associated gas fees. You can check the current gas fees here or Metamask also displays gas fees when you make your purchase. Click on the Metamask chrome extension and then BUY. Click continue to Wyre and enter how much Ethereum you want to buy. From there, just enter your credit card, and personal information and then hit SUBMIT. This is a fairly simple process but be mindful it doesn't always get approved.
PLEASE NOTE: Agent1 does NOT recommend making purchases via mobile wallets as they can be more easily compromised than a desktop wallet.
Now you're ready to buy your Agent1
Head to the mint page here and connect your wallet. Enter the amount of times you want to mint, for example 2 or 3, and hit the "Mint" button.
You will have to wait up to 1 minute for the minting to complete as your Agent1s are created on the Ethereum blockchain forever! Once ready, you will be given a link to view them on Opensea.
